An anti-static cloth is a special type of cloth that is used to remove dust, dirt and sanding residue. It is made of a lint-free material - similar to gauze - impregnated with a sticky substance used to remove dust and dirt from wood before finishing.
It can be used for various types of varnish and on surfaces such as metal, wood, plastic, etc.
An anti-static cloth is used to clean varnished parts before applying the final coat. Dust left behind after sanding on, if not cleaned with the antistatic cloth, will cause precipitation in the varnish in the form of visible dust particles.
Silicone- and wax-free, streak-free.
